Awakening Through Grief: 6-Week Mindful Grieving Yoga Therapy Class is based off of the Grief Support Network’s signature Yoga Therapy program and is a powerful introduction to the essential components of their somatic-based approach to grieving, combined with Corinne’s long time study, practice and teaching of Embodyoga, Bhakti Yoga and Yoga philosophy.

On a global scale, we are experiencing grief of all kinds and many of us are being called to slow down and look within to access our resiliency and inner wisdom.

This class series offers an intimate container for emotions and thoughts to be felt, expressed, shared and moved through.

It is an invitation to awaken to all the layers of yourself and life more deeply. To honor your journey with grief by holding it within the sacred container of yoga.

Each 2-hour class session will include:

  • Guided Meditation

  • Journaling/Drawing

  • Mindful Group Sharing

  • Yoga Asana

  • Relaxation / Integration

Throughout the 6 weeks, we will explore the following themes:

  • Creating a Conscious Container to Grieve In

  • Presence & Body Awareness

  • Unconditional Love & Acceptance

  • Grief as a Teacher

  • Evolution of Identity Through Grief
